1) We need a savior because

†           * God is holy and perfect and we are sinners. Romans 3:23

†           * The result of our sin is death. Romans 6:23

2) Jesus, God’s son, is that savior and our only hope of salvation. John 14:6, Acts 4:12

3) Jesus did what we cannot do for ourselves. For our benefit, Jesus led a perfect life; suffered and died; and rose from the dead to give eternal life in heaven to all who believe. John 3:16, Romans 6:4

4) Everything that is necessary for you to be saved has already been accomplished for you through  Jesus’ perfect life, death, and resurrection.

†          * Belief in Jesus as your Savior grants forgiveness of all your sins. Acts 13:38

          * Faith in Jesus Christ receives His gift of salvation. Ephesians 2:8

                    * Having faith is received through hearing the Gospel (Word of Christ). Romans 10:17
